Engagement

The Georgetown Global Cities Initiative (GGCI) celebrates research, practice and service that explore the interdisciplinary themes associated with urbanization. This range of engagement—a compelling expression of the passion and expertise of our faculty—manifests both our international networks and our commitment to our role as a leading anchor institution in Washington, DC, our own urban environment. GGCI welcomes all Georgetown stakeholders with interests that intersect with or could enrich our mission. To get involved, please contact globalcities@georgetown.edu. The following themes describe clusters of ongoing work at Georgetown that constitute the initiative. We look forward to updating these themes as our dialogue proceeds.
