The Faculty Director of the Georgetown Global Cities Initiative seeks graduate student research assistants for multiple positions. Each position supports, advances and promotes faculty research projects and convening activities coordinated by the Initiative. Responsibilities include:
- Performing targeted research tasks associated with faculty research projects;
- Researching, planning and coordinating targeted convenings;
- Supporting social media and outreach strategies;
- Documenting ongoing activities of the Initiative;
- Supporting the strategic planning of the Initiative.
Employment requirements include:
-Passionate interest in cities and global urbanization;
-Strong writing and communication skills.
Individual positions will require:
-Graphic design and website-building skills;
-Strong quantitative analysis skills;
-Geo-spatial analysis skills (ArcGIS).
