Rajesh Veeraraghavan

Rajesh Veeraraghavan studies information and communication technology for development including the intersection of data, technology and governance, the politics of data and technology and inequality and the role of data and technology to improve lives of the marginalized. He is building a digital observatory of unplanned settlements in Delhi that combines satellite imaging, fieldwork and community participation to map socio-spatial inequality, exemplifying a city that makes the concerns of the poor central in its policies.
