Joseph A. McCartin focuses on the intersection of labor organization, politics and public policy, currently looking at changing labor relations in the public sector. At the Kalmanovitz Initiative, he explores policies supporting workers’ rights, coalition building between labor and community groups, and connecting students to local organizing and advocacy opportunities.
