Evan Barba

Evan Barba combines systems theory and design methods to drive complex systems toward more sustainable and equitable futures. He emphasizes the use of computational tools to better understand and manage complexity and to empower users to make systems work for them. His current research — exploring the feasibility of sustainability transitions — is funded by the NSF's Sustainable Urban Systems program. Past projects have been funded by NASA and the Laudato Si’ Fund, among others.
