Ellen McCarthy

Ellen McCarthy focuses on reconciling public and private value in urban revitalization through land use, zoning, neighborhood planning and historic preservation. From 2004-2007, she led the District of Columbia Office of Planning.  Her past work included a proposal for a land use control system for Liberia. Currently she advises on the redevelopment of a former military base in southern California.
