Hamid R. Moghadam co-founded the company's predecessor, AMB Property Corporation, in 1983, leading it through its initial public offering in 1997 as well as its merger with Prologis in 2011. Moghadam has been a board member since the company’s inception and serves on the board’s executive committee. He received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor and Master of Science in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Prologis Inc., a member of the S&P 500, is the global leader in logistics real estate, with $87 billion in assets under management and 5,100 customers in 19 countries across four continents (as of December 31, 2018).
