Please join us in open dialogue with the members of the Georgetown faculty who serve on the District of Columbia Commission on Climate Change & Resiliency. The Commission recently released its third legislatively mandated report, entitled "Strengthening Capacity & Anticipating Change," which advances five key findings and makes ten thematic recommendations to the Mayor and Council of the District of Columbia.
The report can be found at: climatecommission.dc.gov.
The Commission on Climate Change & Resiliency is an independent body charged with assessing the District’s actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Through quarterly meetings, the Commission reviews plans, policies, and programs and advises the Mayor and Council. The Commission champions climate actions that serve residents in a just and equitable manner, protect infrastructure, and advance our economy and quality of life in the nation’s capital.
